Esta semana estarán en exposición los libros desplegables que hicimos en clase. Están cordialmente invitados a pasar por el pasillo de las aulas de Español para poder apreciarlos.

1. Los puntos suspensivos, el punto y coma y los signos de interrogación. 

2. Realizaremos la prueba semanal de ortografía con las palabras que de la semana pasada.

JUNIOR CLASS TRIP TO CAYOS COCHINOS 

This is the last week to help our Juniors prepare for their Cayos Cochinos Trip Donations. The items needed are below. The Junior Class will collect the materials from each room this week, and thank all our school community for your help.

Nursery/Pre Kinder: 1 box of colored pencils

Kindergarten: 1 box of pencils

1st grade and 2nd grade: 2 single subject notebooks

3rd grade: 2 pairs of scissors

4th grade: 1 box of pencils

5th grade: 1 box of colored pencils

6th grade: 2 white outs and 2 erasers

7th grade: 2 glue sticks and 2 sharpeners

8th grade: 2 glue sticks and 2 sharpeners

9th grade: 2 sets of pens (red, blue, and black)

10th grade: 2 white outs and 2 erasers

12th grade: 1 box of chalk

ANUNCIOS: 

The DPTO will hold FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT this Thursday, March 14, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The movies they will be showing are Madagascar3 (for grades N-2) and The Avengers (grades 3 and up). There will be pizza. popcorn and drinks for sale that night. 

Semana del 4 al 8 de Marzo, 2013

Durante esta semana continuaremos trabajando en la elaboración de nuestros libros desplegables , sobre el libro que leímos en clase. 

Esta semana NO habrá prueba de ortografía. Los libros serán la evaluación de la semana. 

STUDENT FIELDTRIP TO THE OPERA - 

As part of the Music and Spanish curriculum, Students from grades 5 – 12 will attend an Opera presentation. This year the Honduran Musical Foundation will present LA TRAVIATA by Verdi, an Opera based on La Dama de las Camelias (a novel by Alejandro Dumas). This is a good opportunity for our students to experience one of the most complete and enriching musical classical genres. Ms. Pamela Cruz and Ms. Norma López (our Music teachers), will perform in this Opera.

Date:   March 5, 2013

Place:  Manuel Bonilla Theatre

Cost:   L. 340 (Includes opera ticket and bus)

Dress Code: Formal pants or skirt, formal blouse or shirt and formal shoes. Please do not wear tennis shoes, shorts or jeans.

On that day we will leave the school campus at 8:15 a.m., and will come back

at 12:30 p.m.  Homeroom teachers need to accompany their students to help supervise them during this activity. Students need to bring the money to the Music department no later than Friday, March 1, 2013.
